Dear Oak Grove Families,
We are off to a wonderful start! Both our students and staff are very excited to be back on campus, ready to learn and grow together.
As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting and helping our students succeed, we are asking that parents review the Student Handbook, a copy of the handbook is located in the student planner that was distributed to all students.
The following forms will be sent home for parents/guardians to review, sign, and return to school next week.
Year-Long Short Term Independent Study Master Agreement- Please return this form as soon as possible. By having this agreement on file, students can stay current with daily assignments during absences, which may help excuse the absence. It’s also important that students check in with their teachers when they return to stay on track.
If your student is absent, please call the attendance line at 619-669-2784. Be sure to include;
Your student’s name and school
The date and reason for the absence
Your name and phone number
Student Technology Program/ Chromebook Protection Plan form-
All students are issued a Chromebook and charger to use in class and take home. Students are responsible for their Chromebooks and chargers, they are to bring their Chromebooks to school fully charged daily.
The Chromebook protection plan is optional, in the event that your student drops, breaks the Chromebook, the protection plan covers up to two accidental repairs per school year.
Chromebooks will be distributed to all students that turn in the form next week.

Sept. 7- Labor Day, no school
Sept. 8- Picture Day
Sept. 14-18- Parent Teacher Conferences, (all week will be minimum day schedule)
