Dear Oak Grove Families,
Congratulations to our 3rd quarter Honor Roll and Eagle Excellence students and thank you to all the parents that came to our award assembly. Your presence and encouragement is appreciated.
We will be celebrating our 3rd quarter award recipients on Tuesday April 28th, during school hours, with a fun Field Day and Ice Cream Social. Students received an informational flyer about this event.
It was wonderful to see our students share their talents and to enjoy such a fun and memorable evening with our Eagle families at last Friday’s Talent Show. Events like these help build school spirit while showcasing the creativity, confidence, and hard work of our students. We truly appreciate everyone who contributed their time and effort to make this event such a success. Thank you to ASB for hosting this special event!

Registration updates:
26-27 Open Enrollment for New Students to our District, Opened April 21st
26-27 Returning Student Enrollment begins May 1st and ends May 29, 2026, please enroll your student through the Parent Portal, ParentVue, all currently enrolled students need to register for the next school year by May 29th.
8th Grade Parent Reminders
Cap & Gown Pictures- Hagar Photography will be at OGMS on Wednesday, April 29th. Promotion portraits will be taken for all 8th grade students. A package will be sent home on their parent approval plan. This means that no money is necessary on picture day. You will be able to view your portraits and pay only for the portraits you want to keep. There will not be a make-up day for promotion pictures.
Sea World Grad Night- May 8th, students that are attending will receive a permission slip to take home this coming week. Please make sure to return the signed permission slip no later than Monday May 4th. Transportation will be provided by our school buses and it is imperative that we receive the signed permission slip.
Cap & Gowns for the 8th grade promotion, please click on the following link for more information, Cap & Gown the cost is $30.00, you may also pay with cash/check in the school office.

Yearbooks;
Yearbooks are on presale! The last day to pre-order is May 10th for $35. After May 10th prices will increase. Preorders are only available online through the QR code on the attached flyer, you will need the school code that is also located on the flyer, to access the flyer click on the following link: OGMS Yearbook Order Information
🔔 Friendly Reminders:
Students are required to place their cell phones, earbuds, and smartwatches in their designated phone pouch at the beginning of 1st period. Failure to follow this policy will result in disciplinary action.

Felicitaciones a nuestros alumnos del tercer cuatrimestre con el premio de Honor y Eagle Excellence, y gracias a todos los padres que asistieron a nuestra ceremonia de premiación. Agradecemos su presencia y apoyo.
El martes 28 de abril, durante el horario escolar, celebraremos la entrega de premios a los alumnos premiados del tercer trimestre con una divertida jornada deportiva y una merienda con helado. Los estudiantes recibieron un folleto informativo sobre este evento.
Fue maravilloso ver a nuestros estudiantes compartir su talento y disfrutar de una velada tan divertida e inolvidable con las familias de Eagle en el Show de Talentos del viernes pasado. Eventos como este ayudan a fortalecer el espíritu escolar y a mostrar la creatividad, la confianza y el esfuerzo de nuestros estudiantes. Agradecemos sinceramente a todos los que dedicaron su tiempo y esfuerzo para que este evento fuera un éxito. ¡Gracias a ASB por organizar este evento tan especial!

Recordatorios para padres de alumnos de 8.º grado
Fotos con toga y birrete- Hagar Photography estará en OGMS el Miércoles 29 de abril. Se tomarán retratos de promoción para todos los estudiantes de octavo grado. Se enviará un paquete a casa con las fotos para que escojan. Esto significa que No es necesario llevar dinero el día de la sesión de fotos. Podrás ver tus retratos y pagar solo por los que quieras conservar. No habrá sesión de fotos de recuperación para las fotos de promoción.
Noche de graduación de Sea World - 8 de mayo, Los estudiantes que asistan recibirán un formulario de autorización para llevar a casa la próxima semana. Por favor, asegúrense de devolver el formulario de autorización firmado a más tardar el lunes 4 de mayo.El transporte lo proporcionarán nuestros autobuses escolares y es imprescindible que recibamos el formulario de autorización firmado.
