Hello Oak Grove Parents/Guardians,
We hope that you had an enjoyable long weekend. We want to congratulate all of our students that achieved Honor Roll and Eagle Excellence for the 1st quarter. Invitations to the assembly were sent home with the students last week. Our 1st quarter Honor Roll and Eagle Excellence Assembly will take place on Wednesday November 13th at 8:05 a.m. in our school gymnasium.
The celebration for the honorees will be next week on Thursday November 21st. A permission slip will be sent home with the students for parents to sign and return.
Students received their School Portrait Proofs last week, please remember to place your order by November 14th, you may order online through the following link, then click on Order Portraits https://www.gerardyphoto.com/
OGMS Cross Country Announcement:
We are very proud of our Cross Country students and their achievements, last week’s Invite at Hillsdale on Nov. 6th the following students received medals;
- 6th Grade Boys- Sebastian Hernandez, Erik Pevatov, Carlos Ramos & Colton Brown.
- 7th Grade Girls- Natalia Nuñez & Chloe Christiansen
- 8th Grade Girls- Sophia Hinojosa & Tiffany Le
- 8th Grade Boys- Caiden Christiansen, Fabian Hernandez and Jarek Santizo.
Reminders:
- Please remind your student to charge their Chromebook every night and bring it to school daily. Due to the limited number of
- Please check your student’s Chromebook regularly for the following to ensure they are kept in working condition:
- They are always kept in their protective covers
- There is no writing or stickers on them
- They are not to used on campus unless they are in class or the library
