Nov. 13th to 17th
Hello Oak Grove Parents/Guardians,
Congratulations to all of our students that achieved Eagle Excellence, Honor Roll, and Perfect Attendance. We had over 118 students recognized in our assembly on Thursday, November 9th!
Thank you to all the parents/guardians that joined us and helped us celebrate our students’ achievement. We are planning a fun Movie Matinee at school with treats to celebrate our award recipients on Tuesday, November 28th. A permission slip with a survey will be sent home with students next week.
Students will receive a new Chromebook Protector Case on November 14th. We ask that all students keep it on their chromebook at all times to protect the chromebook and avoid any damage to them. Please remind your students to not write or place stickers on the chromebooks.
San Diego Youth Services will be making presentations in classrooms on November 28th. The purpose of these presentations is to bring awareness to suicide prevention and provide an opportunity for students to talk to a counselor if they wish to do so. Parent informational presentations will be provided if interested. Please see the links below:
Please note that there is no school on Friday, November 10th and Monday November 13th.
Since the next Newsletter will be after Thanksgiving, the entire staff and I wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving! May it be a time to enjoy all the blessings surrounding you, like the people you love and are grateful for.
