Weekly Newsletter for March 13th to 17th
Hello Oak Grove Parents/Guardians,
Spring is among us and the end of 3rd quarter is in a couple of weeks. Our 3rd quarter ends on March 22nd. We want to remind you to encourage your students to review all their class assignments and make sure they have turned them in for credit. Students and parents may access current grades in StudentVue and ParentVue through the evening of March 21st. The Gradebook tab in StudentVue and ParentVue will be inactive from March 22 through March 31st during which time teachers will be entering grades. Report cards will be mailed out on March 31st and will also be available on StudentVue and ParentVue.
We are very blessed to have such a great group of students with different backgrounds and cultures. We want to encourage our students to embrace who they are and respect each other. Our school has zero tolerance for racial slurs and any type of discrimination. We want to make sure that students feel safe at school and should report anything that makes them feel otherwise to the school office.
Reminder:
- Remember to change your clock on Sunday, Spring forward 1 hour.
- Next week is school spirit week, remind your students to show their school spirit,
- Monday- 13th, Over the Rainbow- Wear rainbow color clothing
- Tuesday- 14th, Pot of Gold-Wear gold clothing
- Wednesday- 15th, Wear mix match & crazy hair day
- Thursday- 16th, Knock your socks off- Wear St. Patricks Day socks
- Friday- 17th, Wear your green school spirit eagle shirt or anything green
- Please report absences on our 24 hour attendance line, 619-669-2784.
Are you missing a jacket,sweater or hoodie? Please review the photos and if you recognize an item, please come to the school office to pick it up. If the garments are not claimed by March 24th, we will donate them to Goodwill.
