Hello Oak Grove Parents/Guardians,
This week is Teacher Appreciation Week! Please help us thank and celebrate our teachers by asking your student to write a note to a teacher expressing gratitude and appreciation.
Attn; Parents of 8th Grade Students
Information about the 8th Grade Field Trip and Cap and Gown for the promotion ceremony, was sent home with your student on Thursday, April 27. Please review it, return the completed forms/permission slips for SeaWorld and let us know if you have any questions. The promotion ceremony will take place on June 9, 2023 at 8:15 a.m. and will run approximately 45 minutes. More information about the promotion ceremony will be sent out in the coming weeks.
CAASPP Statewide Testing will begin the week of May 8th to May 26, 2023
We will begin on Tuesday May 9th with 8th grade Science Testing, followed by ELA testing on May 16th and Math testing on May 23rd through the 26th. Please remind your students to get a good night's sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, come to school everyday and on time, and to try their best on the test.
Our Honor Roll and Eagle Excellence recipients for 3rd Qtr. had a wonderful time at our Field Day celebration! Thank you to Crumbl Cookies in Rancho San Diego for the donation and support to our students. see pictures below.
Reminders;
- Yearbooks are available to pre-order and are $25, you may place your order in the school office
- Please remind your students to charge their Chromebooks and bring them to school everyday.
- Registration is open for next school year. Please log on to ParentVue https://sdhome.sdcoe.net/jamul/PXP2_Login.aspx and complete the Online Registration for the school year 2023-2024. All students attending our school next year need to re-register and upload the proof of residency documents as well as the other forms
