Dear Oak Grove Families,
We hope this message finds you well! As we head into the final stretch of the school year, we wanted to share a few important updates and reminders with you.
🎉 Just 12 Days Left!
 With only 12 school days remaining, we have many exciting end-of-year activities planned. Let’s make these final weeks both fun and meaningful for our students.
📚 After School Programs Have Ended
 Our tutoring and after-school activities wrapped up this week. Moving forward, all students must head home at regular dismissal time unless they are enrolled in the Champions program. Please ensure timely pick-up, as there is no student supervision available after 2:50 p.m. Your support with this helps keep everyone safe.
🎢 8th Grade Celebrations

SeaWorld Field Trip – Our 8th graders will head to SeaWorld on Tuesday, June 3rd to celebrate the end of the year! All permission slips and payments have been received—thank you!

Promotion Ceremony – We’re excited to celebrate our 8th grade students at their promotion ceremony, which will be held at the Cuyamaca Conservation Garden Amphitheater in Rancho San Diego.
 📍 Date: June 10th
 ⏰ Time: 5:00 p.m.
 🎟️ Due to space limitations, each student will receive four tickets for family and friends. Tickets will be required for entry. We’ll be sending invitations and tickets home soon.

Yearbooks – Pre-orders are in! If you missed the April 11th deadline, a limited number of yearbooks will be available to purchase on June 5th for $45, first-come, first-served. Pre-ordered yearbooks will also be distributed that day.

🔔 A Few Friendly Reminders
💧 Please send your child to school with a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day.
 👕 As the weather warms up, please review the OGMS dress code with your student to ensure appropriate attire.
 🚫 A quick reminder that selling items on campus is not permitted.

¡Solo quedan 12 días!
Con solo 12 días de clases restantes, tenemos planeadas muchas actividades emocionantes de fin de año. Hagamos que estas últimas semanas sean divertidas y significativas para nuestros estudiantes.
Los programas extraescolares han finalizado
Nuestras tutorías y actividades extraescolares concluyeron esta semana. De ahora en adelante, todos los estudiantes deberán regresar a casa a la hora habitual de salida, a menos que estén inscritos en el programa Champions. Por favor, asegúrense de recogerlos a tiempo, ya que no hay supervisión estudiantil disponible después de las 2:50 p. m. Su apoyo contribuye a la seguridad de todos.
Celebraciones de 8vo grado

Excursión a SeaWorld: ¡Nuestros alumnos de 8.º grado irán a SeaWorld el martes 3 de junio para celebrar el fin de año! Ya hemos recibido todos los permisos y pagos. ¡Gracias!

Ceremonia de promoción: Estamos emocionados de celebrar a nuestros estudiantes de octavo grado en su ceremonia de promoción, que se llevará a cabo en el Anfiteatro Cuyamaca Conservation Garden en Rancho San Diego.
📍Fecha: 10 de junio
⏰ Hora: 17:00 horas.
🎟️ Debido a las limitaciones de espacio, cada estudiante recibirá cuatro entradas para familiares y amigos. Se requieren entradas para entrar. Pronto enviaremos invitaciones y entradas a casa.

Anuarios:  Si no pudiste comprar antes del 11 de abril, un número limitado de anuarios estará disponible para comprar el 5 de junio por $45, por orden de llegada. Los anuarios reservados también se distribuirán ese mismo día.

🔔 Algunos recordatorios amistosos
💧 Por favor envíe a su hijo a la escuela con una botella de agua recargable para mantenerse hidratado durante todo el día.
👕 A medida que el clima se calienta, revise el código de vestimenta de OGMS con su estudiante para asegurarse de usar la vestimenta adecuada.
🚫 Un breve recordatorio: no está permitido vender artículos en el campus.
